| Chapter member Richard Angus has brought the Bradley Aerobat (click to see details) to the point where the Chapter's Members can contribute a lot to building the airplane! The aircraft needs cleaning, priming and painting. This is your chance to say, "I helped build an airplane." It IS the Spirit of EAA! ------------------------------------------------------------------

Aviation Day 2008
Here is short movie with highlights of Aviation Day 2008. We had over 1500 visitors from the general public and we flew more than 100 young people in the Young Eagles program. It was a great day for all. See this movie for the highlights
Here is the movie from our 2007 Event. It was great too, but we only had half the number of visitors.

If you are on the EAA Chapter fuel discount list, remember that you have to register your credit card with the General Aviation FBO. It is the credit card that hits the record. Stop by the desk in the FBO!
Also, please take your credit slip out of the machine. Don't leave your credit information there for the next person to pick up!

| Members chipped in for a great new grill. Hey, are you guys cooking or showing the wind direction to incoming aircraft? |

| The Museum received a wonderful donation in the form of an ATC-510 Desktop Analog Flight Simulator in becutiful working condition. Yes, we have the fancy IFR simulator in the classroom, but this one is a lot more fun! It is a beautiful addition to our collection! |
- Save Money with a Simulator: Our FAA-Certified high quality IFR flight simulator is installed and working well, thanks to the efforts of Chapter President Dan Mohoney. The simulator now includes a Garmin 430 module, so you can train as you fly!

This series of great articles on safe flying is available on our Website. See this link. The two latest articles are on GPS aviation and they contain both humor and insight. My favorite quote on GPS flying: is Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity!
